Our commitment

People often reach this site in an emergency, sometimes distressed, sometimes on a poor connection, sometimes using assistive technology. It should work for all of them. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a logical heading order, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
• Text contrast meeting or exceeding AA ratios, and visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Full keyboard operability — no function on this site requires a mouse or touch.
• Tap targets sized for use under stress on a phone, and phone numbers marked up as callable links throughout.
• No autoplaying media, no motion that cannot be disabled, and full respect for the reduced-motion system setting.
• The site functions without JavaScript; scripts only enhance, never gate content.
• Responsive text that reflows to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

If any part of this site is difficult to use, please tell us — call the number in the header or email the address in the footer, and we will fix it. If you cannot use the site at all, call us and we will simply handle everything by phone.
